Machines, prep & profitable estimating
Direct experience with industrial grinders and dust-extraction vacuums to master Concrete Surface Profile (CSP) standards, moisture testing, and durable crack repair. "Lecture & Learn" sessions cover estimating with substrate porosity and waste factors, plus how to spot job-site red flags before you bid.
The chemistry behind the finish
Go past the basics into Elite Crete Systems' high-performance formulas — specific mixing ratios, pot life management, and application technique across solid-color industrial epoxies, decorative metallics, and flake finishes.
You're in the network after day two
Train with us and you join a local contractor network built to share leads, troubleshoot site conditions, and support each other's growth. Need to rent a grinder or get a second opinion on a moisture issue? The Corona facility stays your home base.

Two days, start to finished floor.
Day one is substrate and science. Day two is the decorative work and the business behind it.
Day One — Thursday, Sept 17 Prep, diagnostics & base systems
Welcome & shop safety
Facility walk-through, PPE fitting, dust and solvent handling.
Reading the slab
Concrete Surface Profile (CSP) standards, porosity checks, and what the substrate is telling you.
Grinding & dust extraction
Hands-on with industrial grinders, tooling selection, edge work, and vacuum setup.
Lunch (provided)
Open Q&A with instructors.
Moisture testing & crack repair
Calcium chloride and RH testing, vapor mitigation decisions, durable joint and crack repair.
Lecture & Learn: resin selection
Matching the system to the environment — industrial plant vs. residential garage vs. commercial kitchen.
Primer & base coat application
Mixing ratios, pot life, and laying the base that day two builds on.
Day Two — Friday, Sept 18 Decorative systems & running the business
Debrief the base coat
Inspect day-one work, diagnose defects, and plan corrections.
Flake systems
Broadcast technique, coverage rates, scrape and vacuum, and topcoat selection.
Metallic epoxy
Pigment dispersion, movement techniques, cell control, and repeatable pattern work.
Lunch (provided)
Contractor network introductions.
Topcoats & cure schedules
Polyaspartics vs. urethanes, UV stability, slip resistance, and return-to-service timing.
Estimating & job-site red flags
Building a bid with porosity and waste factors, labor loading, and walking away from bad jobs.

Certification, contractor pricing setup, and how to use the network going forward.

Our Corona training facility is a working shop — poured training bays, live equipment, and the same conditions you'll meet on a job site. Parking is on site. Wear closed-toe boots and clothes you don't mind losing.

FAQ
Before you register.
Do I need experience to attend?
No. The class is built to take a motivated beginner to a competent first install, and it still gives working contractors the chemistry, estimating, and troubleshooting depth they're usually missing.
What should I bring?
Closed-toe work boots, clothes you can ruin, and a notebook. All PPE, tools, and materials for the class are provided.
Will I actually run a grinder?
Yes. Class size is capped at 15 specifically so every student gets real machine time on the training bays — not a demo you watch from the back.
Do I get certified?
You receive a certificate of completion from Elite Crete Systems, plus access to contractor pricing and ongoing technical support.
What's your cancellation policy?
Contact the Corona facility for current transfer and cancellation terms — seats can typically be moved to a future class date.
Is lodging included?
Lodging is not included. Ask when you register and we'll point you to nearby hotels used by out-of-area students.
